Earlobe Repair
Earlobe repair is the process of repairing torn earlobes, or those with large holes created by gauges. The procedure is performed in the office under local anesthesia and involves cutting a small notch in the torn lobe, then meticulously suturing the lobe back together.
The aging process also affects the ear and earlobes often become stretched and may “droop”, bringing the whole face down. Earlobe reduction is a process similar to earlobe repair, where excess tissue is removed and the edges are brought together. This is also performed in the office under local anesthesia.
Newborn Ear Deformities (non-surgical)
Congenital ear deformities are common and can cause significant psychosocial distress. Auricular molding/splinting can be successful in correcting the various types of deformities when performed with the first week of life. A custom-made rigid elastic split in applied and secured with surgical tape and surgical glue. Splints are not painful and do not disrupt normal infant activities. They are removed after 14 days and ears are re-evaluated. Additional re-splinting may be required.

The Body Lift technique involves the use of an incision similar to the Abdominoplasty procedure. Like Abdominoplasty, which improves the appearance of the waistline in the front, the Body Lift incision starts anteriorly, continues around the back in a gentle curve and allows for improvement of the lower abdomen, buttock and thigh areas in a single procedure.
